This project supported the augmentation of water for the Lower Arkansas Valley by connecting to the Pueblo Water Works 72-inch high-pressure line from Pueblo Reservoir. The work included installing 18-inch HDPE fused pipe and an elevated 18-inch Schedule 40 steel pipe to deliver water into a concrete forebay. A riprap run-down was constructed to control erosion from the 7,000 gallons per minute inflow.
